CBA Young Lawyers Horn of Plenty Food Drive
The Young Lawyers Section of the Connecticut Bar Assocation is teaming up with Foodshare to help make the difference between hungry and healthy in advance of the holiday season. Over 400,000 people in Connecticut are food insecure, and 1 in 7 children live in poverty. While The CBA YLS Horn of Plenty Food Drive also collects healthy, non-perishable foods on behalf of local food banks, your dollars only go so far in the grocery store. A cash donation of just $10 to Foodshare provides a hungry neighbor with enough food for 25 meals, while a donation of $35 feeds a needy family for a week! Please consider making a cash donation today.
To make a donation to this fundraiser you can either join our team by clicking the "Donate Now" button, or make a donation on behalf of a team member by clicking their name under the Team Roster.
Your cash donation of any amount can provide our hungry neighbors with nutritious food for today and hope for a healhtier tomorrow. All donations – big or small – make a difference!
