Welcome to Maura Callahan's Fundraising Page
It's almost Turkey Time!
This year I have the honor to chair Goodwin College's campaign to participate in FoodShare's Turkey and Thirty fundraising campaign to help our community in need.
118,000 people (1 in 9) living in Greater Hartford struggle with hunger. According to FoodShare income guidelines, approximately 1,000 students and families may be eligible for food assistance.
Goodwin College's students are in school because they are seeking to enhance their employment prospects. Many come to us after having lost their jobs, seeking to retrain. For these students, their college years are a time of transition, which can include phases of acute need, and even homelessness. FoodShare is a dedicated resource partner supporting the Ann B. Clark Transition Food Pantry at Goodwin College.
In partnership with valued colleagues, donors like YOU, community leaders and volunteers, Goodwin College works to support FoodShare in their campaign for food security.
Your gift supports this important work. But it doesn't end there...
Your donation also allows Foodshare to collaborate with anti-hunger organizations, policy makers, and the broader community to build effective solutions to end hunger.
