Voices Against Hunger

2013 Voices Against hunger Feed the Children Header

RAISE YOUR VOICE

You’re never too young to make a difference! Every year, students in grades K-12 take action by creatively expressing their feelings on the subject of hunger. Whether they choose to participate through art, video or writing, children have the opportunity to learn about hunger in Connecticut and share that knowledge with others.

2014 THEME: "TOGETHER WE CAN SOLVE HUNGER"

Here in America, also know as the land of plenty, hunger should never be a concern. But it is...

1 in 8 Connecticut residents is food-insecure, meaning they cannot always be sure where their next meal is coming from. Youth can help Foodshare "draw" attention to this important issue through our Voices Against Hunger Art & Media Contest.

View our online brochure for complete submission guidelines, and don't forget to check back in the Spring for information on participating in 2015!
