STUDENTS, RAISE YOUR VOICE

You’re never too young to make a difference! Every September, students in grades K-12 take action by creatively expressing their feelings on the subject of hunger. Whether they choose to participate through art, video or writing, children have the opportunity to learn about hunger in Connecticut and share that knowledge with others.

2012 THEME: NO SCHOOL? NO MEALS…

What do you do when you’re home from school—for the weekend, school vacation or the summer? Do you relax with family and friends, without a care in the world? For many kids, missing school means missing meals!  Hundreds of students participated this year, helping Foodshare "draw" attention to this important issue through our Student Voices Against Hunger Art & Media Contest.
