SNAP Outreach Training - May 22 at 5:30 PM

Foodshare has an immediate need for SNAP Outreach Volunteers throughout Hartford and Tolland Counties. Volunteers are trained to determine eligibility for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), and provide application assistance to those who qualify. Introduction to Foodshare - June 12 at 5:30 PM

Become an Ambassador (Level 1) - July 16 at 5:30 PM

We need your voice!  Attend this meeting to learn everything you need to know in order to make an effective presentation about Foodshare’s work to build a hunger-free Greater Hartford.  Each year hundreds of local clubs, schools, faith groups and civic organizations invite us to provide speakers. Short and long-term internships available!

Foodshare has unpaid internships available to college or high school students. Flexible tasks and hours based on our needs and your area of interest. Interns have helped us in the areas of communications, special events, volunteer programs, food stamp (SNAP) outreach, educational programs, nutrition, warehouse operations and more.
