How does it all come together?

Have you ever wondered how a food bank operates...where the money comes from and how it is used to help those in need? Well, take a look below and you might be surprised. While food distribution is our primary function as a food bank, it's important to remember that our overall mission is to end hunger in greater Hartford. Endng hunger involves more than just feeding those who are hungry...it also means connecting them with tools to become self-sufficient so they will no longer need help.  Thanks to our donors, the lifeblood of our organization, we have gradually increased these efforts over the years and are proud to be making a difference in communities all over Central Connecticut!
