About Mobile Foodshare

Mobile Foodshare is a pantry-on-wheels that brings fresh produce and other food to our neighbors in need at community sites throughout Hartford and Tolland counties. The program increases access to healthy food and nutrition throughout the region serving an average of more than 13,000 visitors each month.

“I need this food to supplement my income. Often I say what would I do if the help didn’t exist? I just wouldn’t be able to make it. This is what’s feeding my kids, it really helps out a lot.”

- Mobile Foodshare participant

Partnering with community based organizations, including community centers, senior and low-income housing complexes, houses of worship, and human service providers, last year Mobile Foodshare distributed more than three million pounds of food to 60 different locations.
